Holko Enercon has been installing energy efficient roofs since 1983. Many of the roofing systems we offer are designed to save energy and reduce cooling costs to your building. Our products carry the reflectivity factor required to earn an Energy Star rating, which means that they can lower the surface temperature of your roof by up to 50°F and decrease the amount of heat transferred into your building. These roofs also block UVA and UVB rays.
Some building owners have seen up to a 40% decrease in energy consumption during the hottest months of the year after installing a reflective single-ply roof. They’ve also seen a difference of up to 40 degrees in rooftop temperature compared to dark-colored systems like Gravel Built Up, Black EPDM, and aluminum coated surfaces.
Our roofing systems are built to sustain energy savings over the course of their lifetime. Installing sustainable, energy-efficient roofing can help facilities earn LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) points from the U.S. Building Council. If you’re looking for an extra boost of environmental consciousness, the PVC products we install are also recyclable and can be made into other construction products, like flooring, roofing, and other types of plastics.
